Presentation Time!

My presentation is an interview; the interviewee shared her story about LGBTQ bullying.

The process of creating the presentations started with finding someone who experienced bullying because of their sexuality and were willing to share their story. After we found someone, we asked her the questions and recorded down her answers. Then, I put the questions and answers into slides and turned it into a video presentation with voiceovers. During this process, I definitely learned and grew from hearing her story. I was able to truly see what I was fighting for in this digital activism project. Rather than simply looking at statistics, this really broadened my view and made myself more aware of the problem.

This presentation is not only important to me because I was able to learn, it should also be important to others because they can easily see the bullying firsthand and see the effects on the bullied. This will raise more awareness and allow people to think beforehand their actions and words.
